Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the PingPilot website and reminder service (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

PingPilot schedules and delivers reminders across channels you select — email, WhatsApp, SMS and phone calls — and escalates unacknowledged reminders according to the chain you configure. Delivery depends on third-party carriers and providers, and timely delivery cannot be guaranteed.

2. Accounts

• You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account.
• You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
• Notify us immediately at our contact page if you suspect unauthorised access.

3. Subscriptions and billing

• Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring monthly basis and renew automatically until cancelled.
• You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
• Plan limits (active reminders and delivery credits) are described on the pricing page. Overage behaviour is explained at the point of upgrade.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice; changes apply from your next billing cycle.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for spam, harassment, phishing, or any unlawful or unsolicited messaging.
• Send reminders to third parties who have not consented to receive them.
• Attempt to probe, breach, reverse engineer or overload the Service, or circumvent usage limits.
• Resell or sublicense the Service without our written permission.
• Use the Service to send content that is illegal, infringing, or harmful to others.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create risk for other users.

5. Your content

You retain all rights to the reminders and content you create. You grant us a limited licence to store, process and transmit that content solely to operate the Service — including delivering reminder text to the channels and recipients you configure.

6. Third-party services

Delivery relies on third-party providers (email, WhatsApp, SMS and voice carriers). Your use of those channels is also subject to their terms. Outages or policy changes on their side may affect delivery timing.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that reminders will be delivered uninterrupted, timely or error-free.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PingPilot shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data or goodwill. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Upon termination your right to use the Service ceases, and we will handle your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
